New Political Cartoon for www.newchoicecanada.com
This is the latest cartoon I did for www.newchoicecanada.com
Not sure if it's posted there yet but I always dig working with Murray! He's got some great & vivid ideas and lets me go a LOT further than most other clients!
He wanted BIG smiles on all of them-I thought it would be funny and more effective to put some messages in the smiles. (see detail)
It was kinda challenging to have the shadows convey the secret identities with so many figures. Beheadings, rape, druglords and suicide bombers were all specified by client.
Though these illustrations are all created for New Choice Canada, it's funny (and SAD) how all of them can pertain just as strongly to the US.

ISCA PIX-CONT'D
More pix.
Another agent, Mike Edwards. Mike is always fun to draw-the snott bubbles with money signs are complete conjecture...(the money signs are anyway)... seems I really hit the people that pay me pretty hard this year, but they know it's all good (not-so-clean) FUN! Robert Bauer is president of ISCA...he is NOT a nazi and he gets a Christmas tree..HE'S ALSO an agent but he hasn't given me any work lately...I shudda hit HIM a lot HARDER!

ISCA PIX-CONT'D 2-Y'Always hurt from laughin...
ISCA PIX-CONT'D 2-Y'Always hurt da one y' LOVE..
ANOTHER CON bites the dust!
Back from the ISCA!
The International Society of Caricature Artists-A mammoth gathering of artistic giants, an avalanche of talent from around the world, an incredible experience every year, time to catch up with friends and colleagues old and new, and chance to meet some of the coolest people in the world who do some of the coolest artwork in the world. This year the guests were MAD magazine's Hermann Mejia, Sam Viviano, Mark Frederickson & Tom Richmond. Here's some of the few pix that didn't somehow get lost or deleted in the melee of file reorganizing....sorry bout the blurry ones.
Here's my studio piece-I LOVE this show...but 5 of 10 people I asked replied: "Cool...but what is "Curb your enthusiasm?" Next year I think I'll pick a better known subject-like the bass player from Flock of Seagulls or Kajagoogoo's hair dresser.
