STEVE JOBS IS A FLAMING TURD!
At 1st, I was PSYCHED when the ipad came out-thought my zombie game will look great on it!..
WELL, I've been posting for some time now about the iphone/ ipad zombie game being finished and now that it is near ready for distributing, Apple announces that they "won't allow" content made with Flash! The programmer tells me that it'll be at least another month now to convert it to C plus or minus or whatever!
First they come up with the "NO BOOBIES" on apps rule and now this! Apple makes some wonderful toys/tools but being told how to play with, use them after you shell out the cash is shear pompous stupidity that I hope it backfires on the censor-happy Jobs. Come on Google, get your ipad version out and give Jobs a big chunk of humble pie!

ANIMATION-CHARACTER DESIGNS
SO here are the approved tweaked Hare & Lemming...minor color changes.
(Turtle still being reviewed at this point...)
ANIMATION-CHARACTER DESIGNS
The 1st feedback is that the Hare & Lemming are perfect-just need a little tweaks-but the main character needs a rehaul-he looks too old and no glasses or hat (I thought glasses were integral to an inventor)
Here's the "younger" inventor roughs...based on kids playing outside my window-ALL wearing caps...
ANIMATION-CHARACTER DESIGNS
I have an animation short project going on right now-it's probably my biggest animation task to date-to be 4-6 min iin length at finish.
I thought it might be cool to go thru my process step by step in hopes that it helps somebody or compels somebody to tell me what I'm doing wrong-either way I'm open to constructive criticism and advice.
So my 1st step is nailing down the character designs from client's description-
TURTLE-Intelligent , inventor, climbs in and out of shell, uses shell as race car, equips shell with his many inventions.
HARE- self assured blow hard, always running in place, usually dressed in running apparel, dislikes carrots, prefers protein shakes.
LEMMING-not bad just easily persuaded, should look dopey, not very intelligent.
Here's my 1st rough designs...

Kids book illustrations- MAYBE?
Quick character designs and concept sketches for potential project-either way I really like the cigar bunnies....
50TH BDAY LIVE PARTY SAMPLES!
OK-this was one of my Favorites!-
The idea was at 1st glance, maybe 4-5 seconds, What is the most dominant feature of all the faces? DEFINITELY the guy on the left's NOSE-it was a no-brainer...UNTIL the fella on the right sat down-he wasn't in my 1st scan of shapes & sizes, he came late-BUT his CHIN was the CLEAR winner in this new geometric Wonderland-sooo I originally was going to have him and his sister share that chin but it just didn't catch the feel of him w/o the rough stubble sooo now his chin is hiding her face instead, except for her smile-which really stood out-methinks...
